After all this time, Carolina isn't playing
A new injury has stopped her, again
On Tuesday 1st of June, Carolina Marín made public a tragic announcement in her twitter account. The message said she isn't playing in 2021 Tokyo's Olympic games because of an injury to her ligaments in her right knee. The injury happened during one of Carolina's training sessions. She has refuted that her injury is not related with her two years ago injury.
Her coach, Fernando Rivas, recognised it is a "hard and unfair situation". Howerver, the message was full of appreciations to all the people that have helped and supported her all this time and the forward. Carolina also included her frustration and helpessness in the message. Even so, both are still working hard for more competitions.
